Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy

The Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy applies to watches only.

What is covered under the Ruban Watches Manufacturer’s Warranty?

We want to ensure that our craftsmanship holds up to a high standard. Ruban Watches covers all non-final sale watches sold via RubanWatches.com for a 12-month period after the date of sale. If the watch proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge at the discretion of the Ruban Watches Warranty Dept.

The Manufacturer’s warranty covers Malfunction or Breakage of :

–  Movements

– Dial  – Indices, Ruban Watches Logo,

–  Hands hour, minute, second hands

–  Links – Separation or breakage

–  Clasp – Attachments and closure

–  Strap – Connections 

  • If the watch proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge at the discretion of the Ruban Watches Warranty Dept.

  • All watches outside of our 12-month manufacturer’s warranty may apply for an extended warranty here 

What is NOT covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty?

  • Damage to the crystal, bezels/case, watch strap/links, or bracelets

  • Damage resulting from lack of care, accidents, improper handling, or normal wear and tear such as scratches, scuffs, and cracks.

  • Water damage 

  • Any watch or bracelet not purchased from an authorized Ruban Watches retailer

  • Theft or lost packages

  • This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or other factors not due to defects in material or workmanship.

  • Any items received as a Gift With Purchase is not valid under warranty or return. 

  • All Final Sale items are not covered under manufacturer warranty, an extended warranty is required to return or repair final sale watches paid for at checkout. All returns would need to be verified by Ruban Watches customer service team.  

Bracelets & Accessories are covered by a 6-month Warranty Policy.

Bracelets and Accessories offered as  free gifts with purchase or purchased as a Final Sale item are not covered under this Warranty. In the event that your bracelet or accessories break within 6 months of receiving, we will replace & provide you with a shipping label for return. Replacement bracelets and accessories are subject to a $4.99 replacement shipping fee.

Extended Warranty

24 Month Extended Warranty :

24 Month Extended Warranty

In addition to the manufacturer warranty, Ruban Watches, Inc. offers an extended two year (twenty-four month) warranty covering damage of watch hands, dial, date box, and watch movement. If the watch proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.  The purchased warranty will cover a single replacement watch, damaged parts, links, clasp, and/or pins at any time during the 24 month period from when the warranty was purchased.

The purchased extended warranty can be redeemed once for a single replacement watch or repair during the extended warranty coverage period.  The replacement watch received will be under the Company’s regular manufacturer’s warranty unless an additional twenty four month extended warranty is purchased.

Any replacement watch will need to be insured by purchasing another two-year extended warranty.

What is NOT covered under the Extended Warranty: 

    • Damage to the crystal, bezels/case, watch case, watch strap/links or bracelets 
    • Damage resulting from lack of care, accidents, improper handling and/or normal wear and tear such as scratches, scuffs, and cracks. 
    • Water damage unless the product is marked water-proof. 
    • Any watch or bracelet that was not originally purchased directly from Ruban Watches, Inc. or an authorized Ruban Watches, Inc. wholesaler. 
    • Damaged caused due to unauthorized repair service.
    • All other factors not due to defects in material or workmanship.
    • Extended warranty cannot be purchased on final sale items or discontinued watches. 
    • Theft or lost packages

Outside Warranty Coverage Policy

Outside Warranty

We understand that sometimes malfunctions happen outside the covered warranty time period or watches sustain damage that is not covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy. 

We offer discounted replacement parts and/or minor repair services to help get your watch back to its working condition.

Please note the solutions offered vary depending on parts and labor supply, type of damage, and location. There may be occasions where you will have to take the watch to a local jeweler to have repaired or take the replacement part to a local jeweler to have swapped out using the proper tools. 

In order to qualify for these outside warranty coverage services:

  1. Ruban Watches product must be purchased directly through the Ruban Watches website, Amazon.com, or through an authorized retailer with proof of purchase and
  2. the product must be either outside the Manufacturer’s Warranty period and/or have sustained damage that is outside the covered malfunctions as outlined in the Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy.

In order to be eligible for a warranty, your item must have been delivered within the past year.

Any warranty submissions after the 12-month manufacturer’s period are subject to repair and/or replacement fees.

To make your claim go faster, please be sure to do the following:

  • Under “Type of Inquiry”, please select “Warranty Claims”, then the type of warranty you are submitting for (either watch warranty, bracelet warranty or repairs outside warranty period).
  • Include any photos or videos that show the problem
  • Include original order number or purchaser’s name and email address
  • Provide as much detail about the issue as possible
