Are your watches water proof?
We like to say our watches are “splash safe” – from washing your hands to a little sprinkle on those rainy days. But our watches are not designed to be completely submerged under water. So take note to remove your watch when taking showers or taking a dip in the ocean!
Do you offer engraving on watches?
Yes, we offer engraving on most of our watches.
To add engraving simply choose the “With Engraving” option on the product page. When the engraving is chosen a text box will pop out for you to provide your engraving message. Only the following symbols can be engraved (Feel free to copy/paste): ♥ ♡ ∞ . Contact our customer support team here if you have more questions. Happy to help.
Please allow an additional 3-5 business days to fulfill engraved orders via the shipping method you select upon checkout.
What is the color variance of the wood?
Each watch is one-of-a-kind and may vary in color from batch to batch.
We see the most color variance in Rosewood and Ebony Wood.
Can I request an order cancellation or order change?
Order changes/cancellations will not be accepted after 4 hours of placing the order.
Please note that even within the 4-hour time frame, these changes/requests are NOT guaranteed after submitting an order so please be sure to double check all of your information before submitting payment. This is because we are trying to ship all orders out the door as quickly as possible and sending change requests in the middle of the fulfillment process can lead to shipping issues.

Can I cancel / change an order that has already shipped?
Once an order has shipped, we cannot cancel it or change the order in any way.
If you decide you do not want your order for any reason, you may return it for a refund within 14 days of receiving your package or exchange it for another style or store credit within 30 days of receiving. Return shipping fees apply. Please note this does not apply to any close-out items, which are final sale.
Why was my order was canceled?
Your order could have been cancelled via our automated fraud detection system.
Our system is sensitive to address and credit card information as protection to fraud transactions. This is mostly caused by providing the incorrect address and/or zip code that is associated with the billing information on the credit card.
Please double check the billing info associated with the card you are trying to use.
Otherwise, please provide a different card or you can pay through PayPal.
You may go ahead and re-order the watch as the order was cancelled and payment will be voided. You can also try using a different web browser, such as Google Chrome.

How long until I receive my order?
This largely depends on what shipping method you selected upon checkout. Estimated shipping times are shared in the shipping method selected.
You can expect a tracking email within 1-2 business days of placing your order from support@rubanwatches.com. Please allow 2-3 business days during the holiday season.
Sometimes this goes to the spam or promotion folder, so please be sure to check there.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS*
Depending on customs and clearance times, orders can take up to 20 business days to receive.
*Please note international shipments may experience additional charges and delays in import / duties fees.
